A soup sale has been planned with the goal of raising $3,000 toward medical expenses for a local resident named Michelle. She had three hospital stays in 2021 for breast cancer, stroke, and other conditions, and a recent fall resulted in a long-term hospital and rehabilitation experience.

Soup will be packed in quart containers, and choices will be homestead tomato with bacon or croutons, beef vegetable, chicken noodle, ham and bean, cream of potato and beef chili. Baked items will also be available. Pickup will occur on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Bainbridge Church of God education building, Race and Second streets, Bainbridge.
