Yuletide at Wheatland will run through Friday, Dec. 30. Guides in historic attire will lead tours of the decorated mansion, and there will be events to celebrate the holidays and history. The event will be held on Wednesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., when the last tour will start. Additional tours will be offered on Mondays, Dec. 19 and 26.

A Family Pass for two adults and two children is available by using the promotional code 22YULEFAM at checkout to receive the discount online. The Family Pass discount is also available over the phone.

"Charlotte Atlee White Rowe: The Story of America's First Appointed Woman Missionary" will be presented on Thursday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m. at LancasterHistory and online. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The program is free and open to the public but requires advance registration.

Rowe was born in Lancaster in 1782 and was appointed as a missionary by the Baptist Board of Foreign Missions in 1815. Author Reid Trulson will discuss Rowe's life, the previously unexamined archival materials that led to her rediscovery, and her importance today.

On Saturday, Dec. 3, LancasterHistory will hold Campus of History Cheer from 5 to 7 p.m., during which time visitors may stroll LancasterHistory's grounds - the Campus of History - and enjoy luminarias, holiday lights, hot cocoa, and the sounds of carolers. On Saturday, Dec. 10, families can join LancasterHistory at 10 a.m. for Candy Canes and Cocoa on the Campus of History. Children will learn about various Yuletide traditions, read about Hanukkah traditions, hunt for candy canes, and complete a holiday craft.

LancasterHistory will be closed on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 24; Christmas Eve, Saturday, Dec. 24; Christmas Day, Sunday, Dec. 25; and New Year's Eve, Saturday, Dec. 31.
