Historical Society Sets Open House

The Historical Society of the Cocalico Valley (HSCV), 249 W. Main St., Ephrata, will host its Christmas Jubilee Open House on Sunday, Dec. 4. The event will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Connell Mansion, which will be decorated for the season.

At the open house, Santa will be ready to greet children on the second floor. Music will be provided by the Tri-M choir from Cocalico High School, Mark Herr on HSCV's antique pump organ, and Allie Herr on the violin. The print shop will be open with demonstrations of antique printing methods. There, visitors will receive a souvenir of the day. Refreshments will be served in the Education Room next door at the research library.
