Donegal Presbyterian Church, 1891 Donegal Springs Road, Mount Joy, will begin a new type of worship service on the first Sunday of Advent, Nov. 27, at 11:15 a.m. The new service will be called Celtic Sabbath and will be in the style of and follow the tradition of contemplative prayer, along with times of silence, that is used in churches in Scotland, Ireland, and Wales.

The new Celtic Sabbath service will feature Celtic music, responsive prayer, periods of contemplative silence, and a relatively short, more focused sermon. All are welcome to attend.
