LCH Health and Community Services distributed more than 300 coats with the help of the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation. The Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation celebrated its 15th annual New Coat Program. The local effort saw LCH partner with Concordville Subaru and Nissan.

Approximately 180 auto dealers located throughout the five-county region of greater Philadelphia were teaming up for this year's New Coat Program. A new winter coat remains one of the most requested items via local service agencies. Through the effort, a record 58,239 brand-new winter coats were slated to be distributed this fall to children in need who reside in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties. Coats were to be distributed through a network of more than 350 nearby social services agencies, YMCAs, homeless shelters, school districts, and more. LCH served the children of southern Chester County on Nov. 3.

Kevin Mazzucola, executive director of the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation, noted that this was the foundation's 15th year of participating.
