LD CTC Welcomes New Student Board Member

Lower Dauphin High School junior Jordan Dormer recently joined the Lower Dauphin Communities That Care (LD CTC) board of directors as a student member. She joined senior Jaiden Dissinger, who is entering her second year on the board.

Jordan, the daughter of Julie and Brett Dormer, is active in her school's Women's Select Choir, Student Council, Class Council, Volunteen and Diversity Club, along with the National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society and National English Honor Society, Jordan also serves LD CTC as a Club Ophelia mentor, a Study Buddies tutor and an On Applebee Pond Puppets puppeteer, and she helps provide child care with the Strengthening Families program. She hopes to attend medical school for pediatric oncology, neurology or dermatology.

Jaiden is the daughter of Jay and Lisa Dissinger. She is secretary of the Tri-M Music Honor Society and a member of the orchestra, color guard, National Honor Society, Math Honor Society and Science National Honor Society. She is active in her church. With LD CTC, Jaiden serves as a Club Ophelia mentor, was a mentor at Camp Ophelia this summer and helped with the LD CTC Sticker Shock campaign. She plans to attend a four-year college and major in special education.
