The virtual Age-Friendly Lancaster City Summit will take place from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Dec. 7. During the program, viewers will learn about the Lancaster City Age-Friendly Action Plan, which was approved in January.

The Lancaster City Age-Friendly Action Plan includes four ongoing Action Team Projects. The projects are Housing Creation and Preservation, Vision Zero and Public Space Design, Promoting Intergenerational Connections, and Communication Coordination and Outreach. Attendees will participate in a breakout discussion concerning one of the four Action Team Projects, contribute ideas that may enhance and support the Action Plan, and learn how to incorporate age-friendly practices in their initiatives in the coming year.
