The Middletown Public Library, 20 N. Catherine St., Middletown, will host a local author event on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Several local authors will speak about a variety of topics, and each author will be available to answer questions.

The authors include Nicole Zoltack, Natalie Damschroder, Leta Hawk, and Misty Simon. The authors will also sign and sell their books at the event.
