Playhouse Slates Christmas Play

The Hershey Area Playhouse, 830 Cherry Drive, Hershey, will present the holiday comedy "A Doublewide, Texas Christmas." Sponsored by the Hershey Rotary Club and season sponsor Country Meadows, the show will run Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, Dec. 8, 9, and 10, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 11, at 2 p.m.

In the play, it is Christmastime in the tiniest Texas town, but the residents are not feeling very festive. Not only are the trailer park residents dealing with the stress of the holiday season, but they have also just discovered that Doublewide is being double-crossed by the county.

The show is directed by Austin Shay, and the cast consists of Amy Snyder as Big Ethel Satterwhite, Sunshine Rishel as Georgia Dean Rudd, Emily Eagle as Lark Barken, H. Thomas Lehmann as Norwayne Crumpler, Harry Menear as Haywood Sloggett, Deborah Santiago as Joveeta Crumpler, Colleen Mullikin as Caprice Crumpler, Mark Scott as Nash Sloggett and Harley Dobbs, and Rita Smith as Patsy Price.
