Selections from "Midwinter's Gift," the recent album of instrumental Christmas music by Frances Drost and Kirstin Myers, will feature prominently in the ninth annual "Portraits of White" concert on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 3 p.m. The concert will take place in Parmer Hall on the campus of Messiah University, 1 College Ave., Grantham.

The album, consisting of piano, oboe, and English horn arrangements of classic Christmas songs, was released in November, placing No. 13 on the Billboard charts in the Classical Crossover category. In addition to songs from "Midwinter's Gift," Drost and other guest musicians will present a variety of winter- and holiday-themed selections. Guest performances will include visual pieces by Timothy Storey.
