Women of all ages and preschool children are invited to attend Neighbors Sharing and Caring, a women's ministry of the Chiques Church, 4045 Sunnyside Road, Manheim, on Tuesday, Dec. 13, from 9 to 10:45 a.m.

Susan Simkins will speak on "Extravagant Gifts Hidden in the Strangest Wrapping Paper." Using illustrations from her life story and Scripture, Simkins will share about God as the Giver of every good and perfect gift, regardless of the wrapping paper.

Simkins earned a doctorate from Ohio State University and is a professor of industrial-organizational psychology at Pennsylvania State University. She has conducted award-winning research, mentored doctoral students, and taught undergraduates for over 25 years. She is the author of "Divine Reversal," a 2022 Christian Indie Award winner.
