Former Infantryman To Speak

The Central Pennsylvania Vietnam Round Table will meet on Thursday, Dec. 8, at Vietnam Veterans of America, Michael Novosel MOH Chapter 542, 8000 Derry St., Harrisburg, at 7:30 p.m.

Following a brief business meeting, Dan Dorsheimer from Hummelstown will discuss his Vietnam service as an infantryman with the 4th Infantry Division. He grew up in Hummelstown, graduating from Lower Dauphin High School in 1966. He was drafted in June 1967, ending up in Vietnam in November 1967 and serving 366 days with A Company/2nd/35th/3rd Brigade/4th Infantry Division, until November 1968. He received several military awards. Dorsheimer is a member of the Hummelstown American Legion, the Hershey VFW and Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 542.
