Solanco Youth Baseball (SYB) continues to grow as an organization serving southern Lancaster County. Teams compete in the Lancaster County Youth Baseball League and play 20-plus games during the regular season followed by playoffs.

Indoor winter practices run from late January to mid-March. The regular season runs through June, with playoffs running into July.

In 2023, SYB plans to offer 10U, 12U, and 14U teams with various sections. The goals of SYB is to create a fun and safe environment for youths to continue to develop the fundamentals of baseball; promote sportsmanship, competitiveness, and continuous improvement; develop managers, coaches, and players who model good sportsmanship and uphold the mission of SYB; and work to create a strong baseball culture in southern Lancaster County.
