Boehm's UMC Posts Holiday Services

Boehm's United Methodist Church (UMC) will hold a Christmas Eve service on Saturday, Dec. 24, at 10 p.m. in its historic Boehm's Chapel, 13 W. Boehms Road, Willow Street. The church will also hold a 7 p.m. service in the main church building. Boehm's pastor, the Rev. Joan Trout, will lead both services.

The historic Boehm's Chapel is known as the first church built for Methodist worship in Lancaster County and the fourth-oldest Methodist house of worship standing in the country. Originally constructed in 1791, the church was rebuilt and rededicated in 1991 to resemble what the chapel looked like in its early days.
