Elizabethtown Area Senior Center, located in the gym at GEARS Community Center, 70 S. Poplar St., Elizabethtown, will host "Songs and Stories of Christmas" on Thursday, Dec. 29, at 10:30 a.m. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m.

Along with a program by Matt Dodd, the event will feature a hot chocolate bar, waffle bowl parfaits, and Christmas cookies. There is no cost to attend, but donations to support the senior center will be accepted.

The event is open to any senior age 60 and older. Registration is requested to ensure adequate seating. To register, call the senior center at 717-367-7984.
