The Cumberland Singers choral group is seeking new singers for the spring season, which will begin in January. The group is looking for altos and sopranos age 16 and up with choral music experience.

Practices will be held on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. at Mechanicsburg Middle School, 1750 S. Market St., Mechanicsburg, beginning Jan. 10. The Cumberland Singers will present a "Broadway Extravaganza" program in April.

The Cumberland Singers is an all-women community chorus based in Mechanicsburg with a history of more than 40 years. The chorus is directed by Alissa and accompanied by Harold Plant.
