Hershey Area Neighbors and Newcomers Club (HANNC) will meet at the Hershey Public Library, 701 Cocoa Ave., Hershey, at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 12.

The guest speaker, Valerie Seiber, will talk about the life of George H. Danner and his goals in creating a museum of Pennsylvania German life in Manheim. Seiber is the senior manager of the historical collections and exhibitions at The Hershey Story.

HANNC meets the second Thursday of the month from September to May. Guests are invited to attend.
