Event To Share Watershed-Friendly Practices

"Tap Talks: Watershed Friendly Property Certification Program" will be offered on Wednesday, Jan. 18, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Artifice Ales & Mead, 55 N. Main St., Manheim. The program is a collaboration between the Penn State Extension Master Watershed Stewards and Nurture Nature Center.

In the Master Watershed Stewards' Tap Talks, local water resource professionals and Penn State Extension Master Watershed Steward volunteers share information on water quality topics. Attendees of the upcoming program will learn how they can qualify their property for certification. They will learn how to reduce stormwater runoff, reduce pollution, conserve water and support wildlife and pollinators. The event will also include local brews, trivia and prizes.

There is no charge to participants, but space is limited and preregistration is recommended. To register, visit https://extension.psu.edu/ and search for the program.
