The Manheim Township Recreation and Park Planning Department will host its third annual Groundhog Day celebration on Thursday, Feb. 2. The event is open to the public and will begin at 7 a.m. at the Carriage House at Stauffer Mansion, 1241 Lititz Pike, Lancaster.

Guests are encouraged to arrive early, and the prognostication will occur at sunrise. There will be arts and crafts, hot chocolate and other light refreshments, music, and an appearance by and photo opportunities with M.T. Parker, the Manheim Township Recreation groundhog mascot.
