Matt Weaver has joined H.R. Weaver Building Systems Inc. as the project manager of Ensminger Builder, a division of the company. Matt marks the third generation to join the firm that bears his family name.

As a design build remodeling contractor, Matt will handle every phase of the project, including the initial planning phase, drawing the project using CAD software, estimating the job costs, obtaining the proper permits, creating a schedule optimal to the homeowners' needs and situation and assembling a team of subcontractors if necessary, according to Chad Weaver, company president. In the future, Matt is also part of a secession plan to take over the business that Chad's father, Harold Weaver, began more than 40 years ago.

Matt started working at H.R. Weaver in 2014 on breaks from school as a laborer to learn about construction, and he moved into the office in the summer of 2021 to learn the business side. Upon completing an internship and graduating from college, he officially started at H.R. Weaver full time in December 2022.

A graduate of Palmyra Area High School and member of the Lebanon County All-Star Football Team, Matt received a bachelor's degree in business administration with a history minor from Delaware Valley University. He played defensive tackle on the Delaware Valley University football team, winners of four straight MAC Championships, and appeared in the NCAA Playoffs four times. He resides in Palmyra.

For over 47 years, H.R. Weaver Building Systems has been completing commercial, residential, new construction, remodeling, renovation, addition and electrical work for a wide variety of clients in the central Pennsylvania area. H.R. Weaver Building Systems is also the developer for the Flightpath Sports Park, where the company owns In the Net.
