Both new members and returning 4-H club members, along with their parents, should attend the reorganizational meeting. Club activities will include taking part in dairy judging practices and competitions, a fitting and showing workshop, and the county show, and each meeting will have a different topic related to the dairy industry. The Lancaster County 4-H Rabbiteers will host their first meeting of the year on Tuesday, Feb. 7, at 6:30 p.m. for youths who are interested in learning more about rabbits and cavies. The meeting will be held in the downstairs training room at the Farm and Home Center. No animals are required for youths to become members. Most of the meetings, which will run from 6:30 to 8 p.m., will offer workshops on animal nutrition, showing rabbits, and other elements of rabbit and cavy care. Club members will complete a record book. There will be approximately six meetings throughout the spring and summer. A nominal, one-time fee per member will cover the cost of all the meetings.
