Women's Group To Start Devotional Series

The Ladies' Lunch Bunch of Reformation Lutheran Church will start a new devotional series on Tuesday, Feb. 14, called "The Foremothers of Jesus."

The Ladies' Lunch Bunch was formed in 2018 and meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 10 to 11:10 a.m. at the church, 2100 Manor Ridge Drive, Lancaster. Afterward, attendees are welcome to meet at a restaurant at 11:30 a.m. In February, the group will eat at Mission BBQ, 2002 Fruitville Pike, Lancaster.

Beginning with Eve from the Book of Genesis and ending in December with Mary, the mother of Jesus, the group will study 11 of the women in the biblical ancestry of Jesus. The study will be facilitated by the Rev. Arica Demme, who has been assisting pastor Mark Chavez at Reformation since January 2022. Each month's installment of the study can stand on its own, so attendees can join at any time during the year. There is no cost for the study.
