Group Donates To Chester County Library

The Chester County Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees (CCPASR) recently presented an $850 donation to the Chester County Library in Exton.

CCPASR is part of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees (PASR), a statewide organization. PASR was founded 85 years ago and is an independent and self-governing body consisting of more than 30,000 members statewide. The main purpose of PASR is to provide assistance to retirees. Members enjoy various benefits, quarterly newsletters, luncheons, guest speakers and occasional trips.

Each year, the Chester County branch reaches into the community with an event or a monetary gift. In honor of PASR's 85th year, the group decided to give money to Chester County Library.

Members of the CCPASR governing body include David Noyes, Karen Grubb, Melba Matthews, Lew Neumann, John Bakken, Bob Czukoski and Dave Seegers.
