Our Lady of Consolation Church will present a Valentine's Day family dance on Friday, Feb. 17. The first-time event will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Schneider Parish Center, 2995 Cemetery Road, Parkesburg.

The event will feature dancing and games, and food will be available for purchase. There will also be a cookie decorating station, a selfie station and a game station.

A fee will be collected per person; children age 2 and under will be admitted for free. Those who register for tickets by Thursday, Feb. 16, at 8 p.m. will receive a discount. Tickets will also be sold at the door.

Proceeds will benefit the LifeTeen mission trip in June. LifeTeen is the church's youth group, which is open to students in grades nine to 12.
