The York County Solid Waste Authority (YCSWA) has elected officers for 2023. The officers are Patrick Ball, chairman; Matt Sommer, vice chairman; Felicia Dell, secretary; John Klinedinst, treasurer; and Charles Renn, assistant secretary and treasurer.

Members of the YCSWA are appointed to five-year terms. The nine volunteer members of the YCSWA constitute the official policy-making body of the YCSWA. Associate members may serve in a training capacity to prepare to become members, at which time they will assume full voting privileges.

The YCSWA members also made annual appointments. CGA Law Firm was appointed as solicitor, and Reinsel Kuntz Lesher was appointed as auditor.

The board of the YCSWA meets on the third Wednesday every other month, starting in January, at 6:30 p.m. in Conference Room A of the YCSWA's Management Center, 2700 Blackbridge Road, York. The public is invited to attend the meetings.
