Elizabethtown Community Nursery School (ECNS) has opened registration for the 2023-34 school year. The school is located at 777 S. Mount Joy St. in the Elizabethtown Church of the Brethren.

ECNS is licensed by the State Board of Private Academic Schools and offers half-day classes for children ages 3 to 5. Classes take place two or three days per week. ECNS also offers a playgroup for 2-year-olds. All ECNS classes are taught by a state-certified teacher who is assisted by an aide with a degree in child development or a similar subject.

ECNS offers the opportunity for children to learn through play with activities based on a curriculum following the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards. A day at ECNS includes art, music, language, math, opportunities for social and emotional development and building motor skills.
