The Garden Spot High School Students of the Month for December are freshman Meredith Good, sophomore Megan Hechler, junior Gavin Reimers and senior Sarah Babb. They were honored for pursuing excellence. High school principal Matthew Sanger presented the students to the school board at its January meeting.

Meredith is the daughter of Wakanda and Merle Good of Terre Hill. Meredith is enrolled in honors courses and has received distinguished honors since seventh grade.

Megan is the daughter of Karen and James Hechler of Denver. She is enrolled in several honors and Advanced Placement (AP) courses and has received distinguished honor roll status since seventh grade. Megan is a member of the volleyball team, track team, marching band, concert band and jazz band, and she was selected for the first trumpet section for district band.

Gavin is the son of Hannah and Adam Reimers of New Holland. Over the years, Gavin has taken several honors and AP courses while maintaining distinguished honors. Gavin is also a member of the track team.

Sarah is the daughter of Kendra and Charles Babb of Narvon. Sarah has taken several honors courses over the years and maintained honor roll status. Sarah is participating in an internship as an emergency medical technician.
