The Eastern Lancaster County (ELANCO) Library, 11 Chestnut Drive, New Holland, will offer a variety of events and programs to the community. Registration is required for most activities. Preschool Story Time for children ages 3 to 6 will be held on Tuesdays, and Toddler Thursdays will run on Thursdays for children from birth to age 3 and their siblings. Both programs will start at 10:30 a.m.

Music & Movement will be offered to children from birth to age 6 with a caregiver on Saturday, March 4, at 10:30 a.m. This musical story time is designed to promote language development and reading readiness skills while providing young children with joyful introductions to a variety of music and music-making experiences.

Teen Tuesday Clubs will meet on Tuesdays from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Each week, youths age 12 and older will explore a topic such as STEM, creative writing, arts and crafts, or book discussions.

Five new "STEAM To Go" kits for children are now available, including a Police and Firefighter Play Kit; Sound, Music, and Band Kit; a Marvel Phonics Kit; a Learn to Measure Kit; and a Berenstain Bears Phonics Kit. The library also has three new Stay Sharp Kits (a Homemaker Kit, a Handyman Kit, and a Things That Fly: Birds and Butterflies Kit), featuring fun activities and games to enjoy with the whole family. A pass for free admission to the North Museum of Nature and Science in Lancaster is also available to borrow from the library.

Read Aloud with Pepper will be held on March 4 at 2 p.m. Children of all ages accompanied by a caregiver are invited to spend some time with and read aloud to Pepper, a friendly Labrador retriever.

Readers' Roundtable Book Discussion will meet on Monday, March 6, at 2 p.m. to discuss "The Personal Librarian" by Marie Benedict. The group is open to adults.

Hooks & Needles, a yarn craft club, will meet on Monday, March 13, at 6:30 p.m. Knitters and crocheters will gather to work on projects. Beginners are welcome.

Family Bingo Night will take place on Wednesday, March 22, at 6 p.m. The entire family is invited to a night of fun, prizes, and literary trivia.

The Lego Creation Club will gather on Thursday, March 23, at 6 p.m. Using Lego bricks, participants will build themed creations that will be displayed in the library.

Demystifying Downsizing & Decluttering will be offered on Wednesday, March 29, at 2 p.m. Local entrepreneur and educator Mara Pritchard, founder of The Beautiful Sort, will discuss the rewards of downsizing and how to overcome the psychological and practical challenges to doing so.

An art display and sale featuring the works of Perry Tibbins will take place at the library throughout March. A portion of sales will benefit the library.
