The Penn Manor High School freshman girls' basketball team won its pool at a tournament held at Spooky Nook Sports on Feb. 11.

The young Comets beat Ephrata 35-19, Northeastern 54-17 and Conestoga Valley via forfeit. The wins capped the team's season at 14-4.

The head coach of the team is Jen Kroesen. Team members include Nevaeh Kennedy, Kendall Burger, Marcela Mendoza, Genesis Avila, Gianna Newton, Audrey Martin, Ava Rothenberger, Jade Durborow, Emma Eckert, Tessa Wolf and Aubrey Rineer.
