Irish dance show planned

The National Dance Company of Ireland will present "Rhythm of the Dance" at the Appell Center for the Performing Arts, 50 N. George St., York, on Thursday, March 9. Touring the world for 22 years, "Rhythm of the Dance" is now one of the longest-running Irish dance shows.

The cast features World and Irish champion dancers, along with traditional musicians and singers. Combining time-honored Celtic dance and music with up-to-date stage technology, this dance and music extravaganza takes audiences on a trip through the ages.
