The Borough of Columbia, in cooperation with the Columbia Economic Development Corporation and PA CareerLink of Lancaster County, will host a recruitment and hiring event on Monday, March 27, at Columbia Market House, 15 S. Third St., Columbia. The event will run from 4 to 6 p.m.

Any Columbia-area business may participate to recruit staff for open positions. To register, visit http://www.columbia-edc.org and look under Hiring or contact ColumbiaEDCorp@gmail.com. Registration must be received by Monday, March 20.

PA CareerLink will also be on hand to help local businesses find employees through its services, which includes job postings, job matching, candidate prescreening, pre-employment assessments, recruiting events and job fairs, on-the-job training, paid work experience, registered apprenticeships, and incumbent worker training.

The event is free and open to the public. Anyone seeking employment or a new career path is encouraged to attend.
