Dog Donation Drive planned

Fairmount, 333 Wheat Ridge Drive, Ephrata, will host a Dog Donation Drive to benefit Phoenix Assistance Dogs. Donations of dog-related items will be accepted through Friday, March 24.

In addition, on Thursday, March 30, at 3 p.m., Phoenix will bring its newest litter of puppies to visit residents in the Health Care Center. Phoenix Assistance Dogs locates and trains puppies to become assistance dogs for individuals living with a broad range of disabilities and who are unable to train their own assistance dogs.

Items that will be accepted at Fairmount include dog training and potty pads (unscented - 22 by 23 inches), large Kong Wobbler dog toys, Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Sensitive Stomach Dry Dog foods, Pet Botanics Training Reward Bacon Flavor Dog Treats, Benebone Bacon Flavor Wishbone Tough Dog Chew Toy, Purina Pro Plan 30/20 Chicken and Rice Formula Dry Dog Food, and Etta Says! Sit! Training Treats Bacon Recipe Dog Treats. Chewy Gift cards will also be accepted.
