Seay to present concert

Christyan Seay, a tenor vocalist, will perform at Zion Lutheran Church, 1905 Broad St., East Petersburg, on Sunday, March 26, at 3 p.m. This event is part of the Music at Zion concert series.

The concert will be "A Sacred Meditation of Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual Songs." It will consists of sacred art songs, spirituals, hymn arrangements, and contemporary sacred songs.

Seay is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University and a resident of Harrisburg. He studied voice with the late Thomas Houser of New Holland and Anthony Leach of State College and also coached with noted vocal coaches in the central Pennsylvania and Philadelphia areas. He has performed extensively throughout central Pennsylvania, in New York City, and at venues throughout Europe. He is artistic director of the Capital Area Music Association (CAMA), a community choral organization of the African American Composers and Culture.

There is no admission fee for the concert, and it is open to the public. A freewill offering will be accepted in support of future concerts in the series.
