The Hershey Lions Club recently recognized three local public servants as part of the club's annual Citizenship and Patriotism event. This year's event was held at the Hershey Volunteer Fire Department.

Annually, the club recognizes a Firefighter, Educator, and Law Enforcement Officer of the Year. Each of the individuals is selected by his or her organization and colleagues. This year's honorees were Jarrett Heisey from Hershey Volunteer Fire Department, Firefighter of the Year; Scott Harman from Derry Township School District, Educator of the Year; and Nicholas Kauffman from Derry Township Police Department, Law Enforcement Officer of the Year.
