The Pleasant Grove and Water's Edge United Methodist churches will hold Holy Week services on Sunday, April 2, through Sunday, April 9. The community is invited to attend.

A Palm Sunday service, "The Garden of Gethsemane," will take place on April 2 at 8:30 a.m. at Water's Edge UMC, 471 Abels Road, Wrightsville, and at 10 a.m. at Pleasant Grove UMC, 900 Pleasant Grove Road, Red Lion.

A service with the theme "A Kernel of Wheat" will be held on Holy Thursday, April 6, at 7 p.m. at Water's Edge UMC. A Good Friday service, "The Seed of Resurrection," will take place on Friday, April 7, at 7 p.m. at Pleasant Grove UMC.

Three services will be offered on Easter Sunday, April 9. An Easter dawn service, "Look for the Miracle," will be held at Water's Edge UMC at 6:30 a.m. with a light breakfast to follow the service. Easter services with the theme "First Fruits" will also be held at Water's Edge UMC at 8:30 a.m. and at Pleasant Grove UMC at 10 a.m.
