In addition to holding its Easter Eggstravaganza at its main campus in Christiana, Freedom Life Church has added a second location this year at Muddy Run Park, 172 Bethesda Church Road West, Holtwood. Both events will take place on Saturday, April 8, at 10 a.m.

Organized by the FL Kids Team, the second event was added this year because of the growing congregation at Freedom Life's Quarryville campus. "It's one of our favorite days of the year, and we're excited to expand it," said FL Kids director Gina Turk. "Any time we can bring a community together and put smiles on kids' faces is a good day."

During the Easter Eggstravaganza, children will be able to meet the Easter Bunny and enjoy free activities, including inflatables, face painting, a petting zoo, games and an egg hunt. "Eggs will be filled with candy," said Turk, noting that there will be separate egg hunts for preschoolers and elementary-age children. "Kids who find the golden eggs will have the opportunity to exchange them for prizes like small, age-appropriate toys."

A variety of food concessions will distribute items free of charge, including cotton candy, popcorn, pretzels, chips and water.

Preregistration is not required. Visitors will be asked to stop by the registration table on-site to obtain a goodie bag. In the event of inclement weather, a decision whether or not to hold the events will be made by 2 p.m. on Friday, April 7. Cancellation information will be posted on social media.

Turk explained that Freedom Life, which has the motto of "One church, many locations," meets at three campuses on Sunday mornings. In addition to the main campus, located at 447 Noble Road, Christiana, the church's Quarryville campus meets at Smith Middle School, 645 Kirkwood Pike, Quarryville. There is also a Freedom Life Centre County campus in Bellefonte. Services are also available online on Facebook, at http://www.youtube.com and at https://online.freedom.life.

FL Kids programs are offered during each service to help children learn about the Bible on their level. Newcomers are welcome.

Freedom Life Christiana will hold Good Friday services on April 7 at 5 and 7 p.m. Easter services on Sunday, April 9, will be held at 9 and 11 a.m. at the Christiana location and at 10 a.m. at the Quarryville location.
