Sopranojam Music Studio will hold its next monthly introductory mini camp, "Under the Sea," on Saturday, April 15, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Students ages 6 to 12 are invited to join in the morning of singing, acting, choreography, and crafts. The purpose of the mini camp is to provide children with the opportunity to learn new skills while focusing on fun and friends. It is intended to introduce youths to the performing arts without a long-term commitment.

Mini camps are held once per month through June. May's event, set for Saturday, May 13, will take place from 10 a.m. to noon. Students ages 6 to 10 will participate in the mini camp program, "Broadway Hits," and will sing, act, and dance to Broadway classics such as "Annie," "The Sound of Music," and "Newsies." Students ages 11 to 16 will participate in an age-appropriate Teen Broadway Workshop to enhance their improv, acting, singing, and dance skills.

Registration is required by the Monday before each camp, and there is a per-student fee.

Sopranojam Music Studio is located in Dayspring Christian Academy at 120 College Ave., Mountville. In addition to the monthly mini camps, the studio offers a summer Discover Your Voice Camp, with singing and piano lessons beginning in the fall.
