Christ United Methodist Church (CUMC) of Yorkana, 5 Main St., Yorkana, will host two family-focused events. Both events are open to the community.

An Easter egg hunt will be held for children age 12 and under on Saturday, April 8, at 10 a.m. The event will feature an egg hunt, other activities, and prize baskets. Each child will receive giveaway drawing tickets for the baskets after the hunt. A short program titled "The Faith" will be presented prior to the egg hunt.

KIDS J.A.M. (Jesus and Me) Kids Church will take place on Sundays beginning April 16. From 10:15 to 10:45 a.m., toddlers through students in grade six will worship and have fun in the Kingdom Kids area. Parents and grandparents may drop off kids and then enjoy a cup of coffee and snack in the welcome area before heading to the contemporary worship service at 10:45 a.m.
