Marietta Lions Club sets egg hunt

The Marietta Lions Club will hold its annual Charles Huck Memorial Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8. The event, which will begin promptly at 1 p.m., will take place rain or shine.

The egg hunt will be held at the War Memorial Park; attendees should enter the park via Aaron Avenue. The egg hunt is for children ages 6 months through 10 years. The children will be divided into four age groups, with prizes awarded in each group. A grand prize will be given at the end of the egg hunt.

The Marietta Lions Club has served its community for more than 90 years. In addition to the annual egg hunt, the club serves the community by purchasing, maintaining and hanging the Christmas lights; taking part in highway cleanup on Route 441; regularly supporting the local food bank; and participating in Marietta Day by serving roast beef sandwiches.
