Children's theatrical program slated

Australia's Patch Theatre will present "ZOOOM" at the Winter Visual & Performing Arts Center, 60 W. Cottage Ave., Millersville, on Saturday, April 15, at 1 p.m. This event will be the final show of The Arts at Millersville University's Family Fun Fest series this season.

"ZOOOM" is a story of a child alone in her bedroom, unable to sleep and curious to understand. Inspired by the children's book "Harold and the Purple Crayon," this production features a child making sense of the world through art.

Using original music, lasers, and projections, the production takes the audience on a transformational journey with light to discover that the dark is a magical place. "ZOOOM" features the work of artistic director and lighting virtuoso Geoff Cobham, composer Jason Sweeney and actors Temeka Lawlor and Angus Leighton.

Separate ticket prices have been set for adults and for all students; the fee for students includes lobby activities for kids starting at noon. Free parking is available.
