District to host vaping prevention night

Penn Manor will host a Vaping Prevention and Awareness Night in the auditorium at Penn Manor High School (PMHS), 100 E. Cottage Ave., Millersville, on Thursday, April 20, at 6 p.m. The event is intended for all parents, guardians, grandparents, friends, and community members and will be presented by the Caron Foundation with special guest speaker Stephanie Owsiany, Student Assistance Program specialist.

The one-hour live presentation will provide parents and caregivers of elementary, middle, and high school students with research-based information that can help reduce the chances that their teen will engage in substance use.

PMHS students will provide free child care for this event. While registration for the event is not required, those who will need child care are asked complete the Google Form at http://bit.ly/PMVapingPrevention no later than Friday, April 14, to ensure adequate child care coverage.
