"The SpongeBob Musical, Youth Edition" performing arts class and production will be offered at Harrisburg Christian Performing Arts Center (HCPAC), 1000 S. Eisenhower Blvd., Middletown. This one-hour edition of the Broadway musical, adapted from the iconic Nickelodeon series, is tailored for young actors.

Casting for the performance will be held after a short introductory period of classes. All students signed up for the class will be fully involved in the experience, and each child is guaranteed a part in this production.

Classes and rehearsals will begin on Tuesday, May 23, at 6 p.m. Performances will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 11, and Saturday, Aug. 12, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 13.
