Benefit golf tournament planned

Lancaster Mennonite School (LMS) will host its 27th annual benefit golf tournament on Wednesday, May 10, at Meadia Heights Golf Club, 402 Golf Road, Lancaster. Registration and breakfast will begin at 7 a.m. for the first round. The afternoon round will begin with registration and a light lunch at 12:30 p.m.

Golfers can choose a morning or afternoon round. Players can form a women's, men's, mixed, or senior foursome or register as a single or double to be placed with a foursome for the day.

Golfers will have the opportunity to purchase mulligans and enter competitions at the event. A hole-in-one prize on a designated hole will also be available.

Team and individual skill prizes will be awarded after each round. Team prizes will be awarded for men, women, mixed, and senior teams.

The cost per golfer includes a meal, use of a golf cart, and entertainment. Preregistration is required. The funds raised will support students and their families by helping to offset the cost of the children's education.
