Silver, Wood, & Ivory to perform at church

Lancaster Church of the Brethren, 1601 Sunset Ave., Lancaster, will host a Starlight Tea Concert featuring Silver, Wood, & Ivory on Saturday, April 29, at 7 p.m.

Silver, Wood, & Ivory consists of local residents Tracy Dietrich and Cindy Wittenberg. Dietrich represents the silver and wood, playing flutes and recorders ranging from primitive to sophisticated. Wittenberg is the ivory of the pair, playing the piano, keyboard, and Celtic harp. Between them, the two women play a total of 19 flutes and recorders in addition to their other instruments. Both are classically trained artists with instrumental performance degrees. Together they have recorded 17 CDs.

Silver, Wood, & Ivory drew large crowds in previous Starlight Tea performances. In the event of an overflow crowd, the concert will be livestreamed to the church's chapel.

Admission is free, and a freewill offering will be received. Tea and cookies will be served following the concert.
