The Friends of Moores Memorial Library will present their annual plant sale on Saturday, May 7. The fundraiser for the library will be held at the pavilion in Lions Club Park, 325 N. Bridge St., Christiana, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Offered for sale will be hanging baskets, planters and geraniums.

In addition, Randy Yoder will grill chicken halves that will be for sale beginning at 10 a.m. It is not necessary to order chicken in advance. All proceeds will be used to benefit the library, including the upcoming Summer Reading Program.
