The Derry Township Camping Association is seeking help with spring maintenance at Camp Catherine, 1275 Swatara Road, Hershey.

For over 60 years, Camp Catherine has provided camping facilities to local youth organizations as well as regional groups visiting the Hershey area. Each spring, the Derry Township Camping Association, which is the caretaker of the camp, performs maintenance to prepare the facilities for the summer season. Over the years, the board members have taken on the bulk of that work, but this year, the association is seeking assistance from individuals and groups that can help during May. Tasks will include mulching, staining, landscaping, repairing siding, and cleaning lights in the lodge.
