Theatre Arts for Everyone (TAFE) will hold auditions for "Sally Cotter and the Censored Stone" on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 16 and 17, starting at 6 p.m. at Union Lutheran Church - East Campus, 700 E. Market St., York. No advance preparation is needed. Youths must be age 7 or older to audition. The performances will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 23, 24 and 25.

In "Sally Cotter and the Censored Stone," the title character falls asleep while reading books about a certain juvenile wizard, and she dreams that she is a student at Frogbull Academy of Sorcery. But danger is lurking, and it is up to Sally and her new friends Dave and Harmonica to save the day. Meanwhile, a mysterious Censor keeps rewriting the story as it goes along. This show parodies a well-known book series.
