Three Hempfield High School Technology and Engineering Education students competed regionally at IU13 in the PA Media and Design Competition on March 11. The competition was open to all schools in their respective IU areas, and students competed at both middle and high school levels.

The three Hempfield High School 10th-graders are part of the Graphic Design 2 course taught by Bill Turner. The students submitted projects in the Logo and Graphic Design category, and all three students placed in the category. Leo Breault won first place, Robyn Fisk was the second-place winner and Kade Peifer finished in third place.

Leo will now move on to compete at the state competition at Dickinson College on Tuesday, May 23.
