Young Entrepreneur Fair

Jun 10

A local homeschool co-op, Ancient Paths, will be hosting a kids' entrepreneur fair in order to raise money for Hope International. The kids have spent the year learning about the mission of Hope International and the geographic regions and people that they serve. After learning about Hope's mission and work with entrepreneurs in other countries, the kids learned from local entrepreneurs before creating their own businesses and products to sell. In order to help make a difference and learn about impacting others on a local and global level, we have created this opportunity for the students. The kids have created their own businesses and will be selling handmade items the day of the event. Some businesses include homemade items such as: hair scrunchies, beaded items, jewelry, puzzles, dog toys, dog treats, stress balls, create your own fairy gardens, fire starters, and more. There will be free kids' activities including balloon twisting, rock painting, and a prize wheel game, and face painting (by donation). There will also be homemade cinnamon rolls, cupcakes, and cookies for sale, as well as hot dogs, chips, and drinks. In addition to the kids' items, there will be a table of items and gift cards donated by local businesses for sale to benefit Hope International. We will also have bins for collecting aluminum cans at the event to be recycled at Sahd Metal Recycling, with proceeds going to Hope International. So please bring aluminum cans to donate to our cause. This will be a cash only event, running from 9 am to 11 am on June 10th at Living Hope Community Church, 2823 Columbia Avenue, Lancaster, PA.
