PACSAR to host chicken barbecue

Pennsylvania Canine Search and Rescue (PACSAR), a nonprofit search and rescue organization, will hold its annual chicken barbecue on Saturday, May 27, from 9 a.m. until sold out. Food will be available at Horst Farm Market, 582 Reading Road, East Earl, as well as at Weaver's Store, 1011 Dry Tavern Road, Denver. All proceeds will benefit PACSAR.

PACSAR will offer chicken legs and half-chickens both individually and as part of dinners. Dinners will also include a drink, a baked potato, applesauce, coleslaw and a roll with butter.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2023, Pennsylvania Canine Search and Rescue is a group of highly trained and certified volunteers that offers search and rescue services free of charge and provides additional resources to other search and rescue teams, local law enforcement organizations, and fire companies in and around Lancaster County.
